By Daria Christine Depression and anxiety are a perfectly reasonable and rational response to the current state of affairs; in the unlikely event that anybody currently profiting from the current paradigm actual DOES want to reduce the suicide rate, the answer lies, not in pharmacology, but in humanity; as long as profit is more important than the alleviation of human suffering, this will get nothing but worse. The difference is as simple as the restoration of socialist restraints on capitalist greed, shifting the burdens of infrastructure back onto the corporations which abnegate their responsibilities to the workforce which enriches them onto the public welfare roles because the wages are insufficient to sustain life.
