By Alan Wolfy Schilde It has been part of the Pledge of Allegiance for 100's of years so why does it all of a sudden offend to the point it should be removed. If you do not like the under god part then just don't say the pledge at all Simple as That.

By Danielle Kichler The Pledge was written in 1892 by a socialist Baptist minister; the words "under God" were added in 1954. You don't have to be a math expert to know that 60 years is not anywhere close to 100.

By Alan Wolfy Schilde Does not matter it still is what it is. The country has gone to s^!t because of all the people here that are offended by any mere mention of God. Since the prayer in schools was taken away look what the children have become. Since the fact that God is being taken out of everything look what is happening. If it only offends 1 in a million then why do we who enjoy God being in everything have to sacrifice for the immorality of others of the few who want to kill and maim people.

By Danielle Kichler Okay, how would you feel if your children were required to recite a Muslim prayer? Or a Hindu prayer? Or a Wiccan chant? Or a Jewish prayer? If you would be bothered by that, then you should understand why non-Christians might not want to be forced to recite a Christian prayer.

And it's pushing your god into everything that has caused all the problems. The religious "right" have caused more problems and social ills than anything else.

By Alan Wolfy Schilde First off it is everyones God not just mine. There is only one God and until everyone understands, then there will always be people fighting over their gods.

By Danielle Kichler Humans have invented and worshiped thousands of gods. It's sheer arrogance to assume yours is the correct one.
