By Vincent D'Emidio I'm not sure if that "vote" was fair...it could've been RIGGED as "president" Trump's election was! Why not have a re-vote in order to confirm it? i'll tell you why...because the immigrants, especially the non-white ones, have increased since 2016, and the "white" folks FEAR (as they should!) that the vote will go the other way, and that scares the hell out of them!

Re-vote NOW!!!

By Wallace Freeman Since EVERY vote can be rigged maybe another method should be used, maybe an hourly coin toss or random number generator can determine that hour's policy.

By William Dykeman you are being sarcastic this is an example of a straw man argument and, you exaggerate, no election is fool proof however efforts can be taken to ensure elections are as clean as possible, the real issue is after their little ethn centirc temper tantrum are the british sober enough to see the damage they are doing to their own econiomy?

By Wallace Freeman British satisfaction with Brexit will be something for the British to decide. After a few years of it they may find that they prefer being out of the EU. If not I'm sure the EU would like having them back.

By Vincent D'Emidio Some of what you say is true, but I still believe that many of the Brexit votes were guided by people's prejudices.

How do I know this? Because as an Italian-American, living in a Black and Puerto Rican neighborhood, I had certain relatives and acquaintances who visit us, their "ghetto" cousins, and they would bring their stupid, unwanted, RACIST opinions along with them. So, you see I have had a lot of interaction with ignorant individuals. And, after hearing their big mouths, I know what's in their hearts.

The common denominator is that these folks are motivated PURELY by prejudice, which, in their minds, "Trumps" all the LOGICAL reasons that they SHOULD vote for the Democrats...none of them are rich, all of them would benefit from trade unions, all of them need healthcare! What they would call "cultural" reasons to oppose the Dems, I call STUPID reasons!

By Vincent D'Emidio I'm sure that they do! When they call me "pothead" or a "druggie", they mean it as an insult. What they don't know however is that I consider it a badge of honor...I am EXTREMELY proud that I was part of the movement in the 1960s and 70s to LIBERATE the culture. So, in retaliation, I will call them "bible-bangers", and I know that they are proud of that name. Of course, what I mean when I call them that name is that they are IGNORANT, little "robots", incapable of independent thought.

If they are proud of being ignorant, uneducated, weak-willed "machines", then I have nothing to say!

By Wallace Freeman So with everyone labeling everyone else with an epithet that the other takes as a badge of honor the result is a lot of meaningless noise but no communication. Perhaps cetaceans will be the next species to rediscover communication.

By Vincent D'Emidio "Perhaps cetaceans will be the next species to rediscover communication".

The last time I heard that word "cetaeans" was in that movie "Star Trek 4 : The Voyage Home", so I can only assume that you're talking about whales. The "badge of honor" thing is just that...a "thing". If I'm proud of having had a hand in the ENLIGHTENING the culture, and if bible-bangers are proud of being ignorant and discriminatory, then that just means that we will never get along. Since my people just wanna be left alone to be ourselves, and bible-thumpers (with no brains) wanna exterminate us, then that would be PROOF of whose side the TRUE God is on.

God ABHORS violence and slavery...He gave all of us FREE WILL, but bible-thumpers refuse to accept that. Now, considering all of that, then it would be prudent to put the bible-banging IMBECILES in their places, like the rabid dogs that they are!

Let's just split this country into two parts, and the racists, bigots, "Vulture" Capitalists, bible-bangers and Prohibitionist lowlifes could have 40%, and the liberated, pot-smoking NORMAL folks could have the other 60% (we are the majority, you know). Then, we'll get along fine!

By Wallace Freeman Geographically the separation of the country has already taken place but its hardly the 60/40 split you propose as the liberals seem to prefer to cluster in densely populated and violent urban ghettos like New Orleans, Chicago and Baltimore while conservatives prefer places like Texas, Kentucky and Utah.

By Vincent D'Emidio But, since INTELLIGENT Urban Centers are inhabited by over 65% of this country's population, then my "split" is valid. Now, there are conservatives living in New York or Pennsylvania...and there are liberated folks living in "Ala-bammy", or in "Luzianna".

My proposal would be to split the country, mostly along the Mason-Dixon line, and any conservative who is unhappy under OUR RULE is welcome to move to the "Saouth", so they can bang their bibles, wear their pointy KKK hats, exterminate potheads, or Gay dudes, or non-White folks, and live in a so-called "White christian" nation. Conversely (you like that, "Conversely"? I do use some FIVE dollar words at times) any liberated people, who DESPISE religious extremists, are welcome to come live with us, where they can have Casual sex without consequences, smoke herb in the streets, and live as they please, just as long as nobody gets hurt.

We may have problems associated with our connectibility...trade, the Interstate Hwy system...but I believe that it can be done! Then, we in the Liberated States of America can say "Good riddance!"

By Wallace Freeman Given the locations of the urban liberal ghettos in below sea level locations like New Orleans, Miami, Washington DC, and New York that are prone to flooding and hurricanes or Los Angeles and San Francisco that are on tectonic faults or Seattle in a tsunami zone, one is quite justified in disputing the appellation of "intelligent" being applied to any of the inmates, but be that as it may, I'm perfectly content to allow those dumb enough to occupy those concentration camps to remain there where they will be eliminated by natural selection.

As the geographic division of the nation has already been made, I propose we simply let it stand letting each jurisdiction make and apply its own laws unique to that jurisdiction. The only thing I might add are walls around the liberal concentration camps to prevent their contagion from spreading.

This is the existing division of the United States. As you can see, the liberals (in blue) have already been isolated. https://brilliantmaps.com/2016-county-election-map/

By Vincent D'Emidio Yeah, but how do you expect 40% of the country to "call the shots" over the 60%, the MAJORITY? You people may LOVE your guns, but if you take a walk through the ghetto (if you have the backbone), you will see which side has the MOST GUNS! Now, since you people are too S-C-A-R-E-D to walk through OUR areas, and we AREN'T afraid to walk through yours, you can really see the "writing on the wall".

By William Dykeman its why sometimes i doubt the efficacy of democracy and admire places like singapore perhaps we need to be guided by a technocratic elite the average peon is to weak and fickle to determine his or her won destiny wise and honest elites should guide society to order and prosperity enough of this freedom rubbish freedom is a feeble excuse to tolerate criminality and chaoes

By Vincent D'Emidio Sorry William, but I have ABSOLUTELY NO respect for a police state like Singapore. In fact, if I was a DICTATOR of the United States, and one of our citizens was arrested for Marijuana in Singapore, and sentenced to death, I would give them 24 hours to release our citizen, or...well, you know!

Yeah, I not only study some history, I am a STUDENT of History! Rome "destroyed" by individual freedom?!!! You've got to be joking! Rome was declining because we started using Non-Romans (barbarians) in their army. Then, during the 300s AD, Emperor Constantine IMPOSED "christianity" on the populace. That made the Empire much WEAKER, and that's a proven fact! Notice how much more powerful Rome was when it was Pagan! The Pagan gods allowed Romans to be themselves...sex, drugs, the Games...need I say more?

Alright...what constitutes "criminality"? Who's "values" are gonna guide us? Jerry Fallwell's? Pat Robertson's? Abby Hoffman's? You see, that's the dilemma...everybody wants to call the shots! Bible-thumpers (with no brains) admire Jerry Fallwell; we liberated, REAL Americans admire Abby Hoffman!

To Jerry, smoking pot is criminal; to me, Prohibition is criminal. To jerry, being Gay is criminal; to me, imposing religious values on non-religious people is criminal!

So, who's gonna call the shots?

By Wallace Freeman The "Christianity" of Constantine was as Pagan as anything Rome, Greece, Egypt or Sumer ever had. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/pagan-origins-of-the-christ-myth-john-g-jackson/1026143160

"Don't hang on. Nothing lasts forever but the Earth and sky.", and on the astronomical scale even that's overly optimistic. Human empires are even more transitory.

Perhaps. but I wasn't talking about which brand of Christianity that Constantine "adhered" to...I was pointing out that it was IMPOSED on non-believers because Constantine was consolidating power, and he figured that the growing "christian" population would help him do that. At the time that this happened, the "christians" were HARDLY a persecuted group.
