By Jeff Schwager The most qualified candidates should get top preference for education. Equality means equality at the starting line -- for EVERYONE regardless of your race. It does NOT mean equality of outcome regardless of the effort put in, nor does it mean disadvantaging one group in order to advance another. When everyone is equal at the starting line, everyone has the same chance to succeed based on their potential and how much effort they put forth. Ben Carson came from a poor background and made it because he worked hard and applied himself to his education. If blacks want to make excuses, that's on them. Nobody wants to hear people make excuses for their failures... Losers quit and make excuses; winners never quit and are rewarded for their efforts.
