Olympics during Ramadan: Unfair to fasting Muslim athletes?
This year the Olympic games are occurring in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan. This presents a difficult problem to Muslim athletes. Ramadan requires fasting during all daylight hours and this may put Muslims at a disadvantage, especially in endurance events. Is this scheduling unfair?
