by anon-04a9 Agree with several of the comments. War is a tough nut to crack. If you're going to maintain a military, and if they're going to be involved in "A WAR", a little leniency is tolerable, even required. Which is why I've saddled my horse to the "CASE BY CASE" group, here. Having said that, (and this will be hard for all you pansy-loving treehuggers), President Trump is the Commander-in-chief of ALL (special emphasis on "ALL") the military forces. It's his baby, and he has the absolute full authority to pardon anyone. He's done NOTHING that presidents before him haven't done, in that respect. In fact, most of the past presidents have done it in the midnight hours, on their way out of office, solely for the reason of not having to face up to any blowback from the world of pansies out there. Does this offend you? There's probably a safe zone at your local university for that. If you've never seen war, up close and personal, how could you understand some of these situations that soldiers are placed in? SO, just a recap. Pardons SHOULD be given, and they should be considered on a case by case basis, solely at the discretion of the President himself.

By Kirby Liberty Harris Why anonymous? Easier to talk sh-te? Just because someone has the power to do it doesn't make it right. It depends on what they did.. From what I gather, they tortured and mutilated people. And if he pardons evil dudes, then I will criticize him.

By Kirby Liberty Harris I will try. Everyone is biased, but the key is to not let that bias effect your commentary on each issue on a case by case issue.

By Kirby Liberty Harris If I see a person do good and bad, hopefully I will recognize both no matter how I feel about the person committing the acts.

By Vincent D'Emidio IF "president" Trump does it, it MUST be wrong!

By Kirby Liberty Harris Not true. Even the worse people can do good things.
