First of all, why do you always have to be so dag-gum inflammatory and confrontational? Have you never heard of RATIONAL discourse? Cut out the keyboard commando nonsense. It's great you have an opinion. You don't also have to be rude.
What about his personal philosophy makes them a lazy POS? That makes no sense. They would rather work an unsatisfying job that pays very well than be a bit more comfortable, but be compensated less. They are willing to live like most people won't to be able to retire and live like most people can't. There's nothing about that equating to laziness... If you're going to just insult people, at least make it sensible.
Spouses are not property. They are independent, sovereign human beings. Privacy is essential to everyone, whether they have anything to hide, or not. I trust that my spouse would not hide anything that is consequential to my life, but if she does, well, I'll deal with it. Life will go on. Betraying someone's sense of privacy is no different than a betrayal of any other aspect of an agreed relationship. Betraying the trust that you will not violate your spouses privacy, regardless of whether they are doing something wrong, or not, is no better than what they are doing wrong, either. Also, leveraging the relationship in a request to give up their privacy is unbecoming of a healthy relationship and the beginning of the end, in my opinion.
I appreciate the sentiment, I would make the same attempt if my back was to the wall, but the reality is that you wouldn't be able to. The smart move would be to flee. Get your family to safety, and live to fight another day, or not have to fight at all.
Any ability for Biden to energize independents, or swing voters is dead, even on the back of an abysmal 4 years of Trump. He missed his opportunity in 2016 toeing the party line and bowing out to make room for the train wreck that is Hillary. Trump will beat him hard.
Funny that Trump makes these comments after the articles last week about strong indications of Bernie being the Dems guy in 2020. He wants to plant Biden in the minds of the left hoping it may dissuade an auto-vote to Bernie. Trump is scared of him. He would be a fool not to be. So would the Right to dismiss a Sanders 2020 run. His base is still there. It is as strong as it has ever been. If the Dems aren't complete morons (which they have been known to be) they will prop up Bernie for the only legitimate chance of beating Trump out of a second term.
Well, look at all that substance. Wonderfully well thought out and eloquent reply. To think I was going to attempt to initiate some rational discourse with you regarding your own comment. Thanks for showing me it would have been a waste of time.
Though I am a bit disappointed in those comments we're all known at some time or another for our ridiculous emotional outbursts. He tried really hard to help, at his own expense, and was mocked for it. His feelings got hurt. He'll get over it. None of this negates his other accomplishments, nor the many others that will inevitably come from this amazing human being.
